What is the iPLC?
The iPLC is a two-day conference that brings together renowned speakers and an international community in one of Maastricht’s historic hotels, giving you the opportunity to engage with distinguished professionals, participate in dynamic discussions, and connect with young leaders from around the world.
Under the theme “Roots to Fruits,” iPLC 2026 will explore how strong character forms the foundation of enduring leadership. Through the experiences of leaders in business and technology, participants will gain practical insights into cultivating the roots of leadership: the virtues. Our speakers will also reflect on how these roots have borne fruits in their own lives and impacted the lives of others.

The iPLC 2026 will take place in the heart of Maastricht at the Amrâth Grand Hotel de l’Empereur. A distinguished hotel housed in a historic Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) listed building. This elegant venue is located directly opposite of Maastricht Central Station, making it exceptionally easy to reach by train or public transport.

What can I expect from the program?
Day 1 will open with an inspiring keynote address, followed by reactions from three expert panelists who will each share their unique perspectives on the topic. Afterwards, participants will have the opportunity to engage in a dynamic discussion with all the experts. The evening will conclude with a borrel on the hotel terrace, featuring complimentary drinks and snacks.
Day 2 will feature a keynote session where the keynote speaker will present a case study. Following the presentation, participants will break into small groups to collaborate on the case, guided by the speakers. The ideas developed in these sessions will then be shared in a plenary discussion, during which the experts will outline their own approaches to the case. Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers by asking questions and sharing their insights. The evening will conclude with a borrel featuring complimentary drinks.

The event is designed for students, young professionals, and emerging leaders interested in ethical leadership, international cooperation, and societal impact. It also welcomes academics, policymakers, and anyone passionate about principled leadership.
When and where does the iPLC take place exactly?
The iPLC 2026 will be held on Friday, 8 May from 18:00 to 22:00 and Saturday, 9 May from 14:00 to 18:00 at the Amrâth Grand Hotel de l’Empereur, Stationsstraat 2, Maastricht, the Netherlands.
How much does it cost to attend?
The standard ticket price is €40,- and includes access to both days, merchandise, and drinks.
Early Bird Discount (25%): Tickets are just €30,- if you sign up before April 3rd!

Yes, the conference proceedings and discussions will be conducted in English to accommodate the international audience.
