The iPLC 2025 takes place in the heart of Maastricht at the Amrâth Grand Hotel de l’Empereur. A distinguished hotel housed in a historic Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) listed building. This elegant venue is located directly opposite of Maastricht Central Station, making it exceptionally easy to reach by train or public transport.

What can I expect from the program?

The conference features inspiring keynote speeches to which three expert panellists will give their unique reaction. Afterwards, participants can engage with all experts in a discussion. To end the evening there will be a “borrel” on the hotel’s terrace with free drinks and some snacks.

The event is designed for students, young professionals, and emerging leaders interested in ethical leadership, international cooperation, and societal impact. It also welcomes academics, policymakers, and anyone passionate about principled leadership.

When and where does the iPLC take place exactly?

The iPLC 2025 will be held on Wednesday, 18 June and Friday, 20 June 2025, from 19:00 to 22:00 at the Amrâth Grand Hotel de l’Empereur, Stationsstraat 2, Maastricht, the Netherlands.

How much does it cost to attend?

The standard ticket price is €25,- and includes access to both days, merchandise and free drinks. Efforts are being made to make the event accessible, with reduced or free tickets available for foreigners. Contact us if you’d like to apply for this.

Is the event held in English?

Yes, the conference proceedings and discussions will be conducted in English to accommodate the international audience.

How does the iPLC relate to Maastricht and the Heiligdomsvaart?

The iPLC is organized in Maastricht and coincides with the Heiligdomsvaart, a historic event that takes place once every seven years. The conference theme aligns with the city’s spirit of building bridges and international dialogue.
